Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the ReviewCatcher service. By subscribing or ticking to accept them at checkout, you agree to them. They work alongside our Privacy Policy, AI & Automation Statement and, for the handling of your customers' data, our Data Processing Agreement.
1. Who we are
ReviewCatcher ("we", "us") is a business registered in Ireland (RBN — registration pending), based in Ireland. Contact: support@reviewcatcher.ie.
2. The service
ReviewCatcher is an automated review-management service. Depending on your plan, we send review requests and reminders to your customers on your behalf, run a one-off reactivation campaign to your existing customers, and (on Mid plans and above) draft and post replies to your reviews. The specific inclusions and limits of your plan are as described at purchase.
3. Plans, fees and billing
- Plans, prices and any one-off setup fee are as shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually as chosen, and renew automatically each period until cancelled.
- Any one-off setup fee is charged on your first invoice.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We don't store your card details.
- We may change our prices for future billing periods on reasonable notice; changes never affect a period you've already paid for.
4. Cancellation
There is no lock-in. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. You keep every review earned. We don't provide pro-rata refunds of a subscription period already begun, except as required by law or under the guarantee below.
5. Our results guarantee
If you receive no new Google reviews during your first 30 days on the service, we will refund your setup fee in full. This guarantee covers the setup fee only and does not apply to subscription fees. To claim, contact us at support@reviewcatcher.ie within 14 days after the end of your first 30 days.
6. Your responsibilities
To deliver the service, you agree to:
- Provide a customer list you are lawfully entitled to use — your existing customers, or people who have consented to be contacted — and to confirm this when asked. You remain the controller of that data (see our DPA).
- Grant us Manager access to your Google Business Profile where your plan includes review replies (you keep ownership and can revoke access at any time).
- Give accurate business and contact information and keep it up to date.
- Not use the service to solicit fake, incentivised or "gated" reviews, or in any way that breaches Google's policies or applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service unlawfully, to send content that is deceptive, harassing or unlawful, or in a way that could damage or overload the service or third-party platforms we rely on.
8. Data protection
We handle personal data in line with the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Acts. Where we process your customers' data on your behalf, we act as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your own data.
9. Third-party platforms
The service depends on third-party platforms (including Google, Stripe and our SMS provider). We're not responsible for their availability, changes to their policies, or any action they take on your account or reviews, though we'll do our reasonable best to keep the service running through such changes.
10. What we can and can't promise
We work hard to grow your reviews and your rating, and we stand behind that with the guarantee in clause 5. However, Google controls its own platform, rankings and review display, so beyond that guarantee we can't promise a specific number of reviews, a specific rating, or a specific search ranking. Reviews are always written and submitted by your customers.
11. Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your data, your customer list and your reviews. We keep ownership of the ReviewCatcher system, workflows and materials. Nothing here transfers ownership of either.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
13. Termination
Either party may end the agreement on notice. We may suspend or end the service if you breach these Terms or use it unlawfully. On termination we handle your data as set out in the DPA and Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date shows the current version. Material changes affecting your subscription will be notified to you.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
