AI & Automation Statement

Last updated: July 2026

We believe in being upfront about how we use automation and artificial intelligence, in line with the transparency principles of the EU AI Act and GDPR.

Where we use AI and automation

ReviewCatcher uses automation to schedule and send review-request messages, and uses AI to help draft replies to reviews. This is what lets us deliver the service reliably and at a price small businesses can afford.

Human oversight

AI assists our work; it doesn't run unsupervised. Review responses and message templates are set up and overseen by a person, and clients can review or change how their responses are handled at any time.

No significant automated decisions

We do not use AI to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about any individual (GDPR Article 22). AI here drafts and schedules ordinary customer communications — nothing more.

Your data and AI

We do not permit personal data handled through our service to be used to train third-party AI models. AI tools are used only to generate the specific output needed to deliver the service.

Talk to a human

Anyone who receives a message from us can reply to reach a person, and any client can ask for a human to handle any part of their account.
